Harry Styles stops concert as suffocated fans cant breathe as eight faint
Harry Styles was forced to stop a live concert after eight fans fainted and many others couldn’t “breathe”.
In a video being shared online from his gig in Bogota, Columbia, Harry, 28, asked fans to move back slowly to stop fans being crushed against the handrails.
The former One Direction star said: “I am very excited to be here, and I know today is going to be an amazing show. But the most important thing is that everyone in here is safe because there are a lot of people in here, and it’s warm.”
They tweeted: “I just have to say that I was in the Platinum section and I almost died. And this was when this poor man had to stop the concert because we were suffocating.”
Concertgoers in the front row were reportedly heard screaming at Harry: “We can’t breathe. We are suffocating.”
The gig in Colombia’s bustling capital saw fans queuing at Coliseo Stadium – which has a capacity of 24,000 people – from 3pm, more than six hours before the gig began.
Initially, the show was intended to take place at the Salitre Mágico amusement park, also in Bogota, but that was changed due to logistical issues.
It comes after a week after news broke out about Harry and Olivia Wilde reportedly breaking up.
A source revealed that the former One Direction star and Olivia are “taking a break” from their relationship.
The source told People: “The two are “still very close friends, but right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
Harry and Olivia first stepped out as a couple in January 2021, when they attended a wedding together despite them both having busy schedules.
They met on the set of Don’t Worry Darling in September 2020 as they took their relationship from a perceived “fling” to a more committed relationship
